There are souls who pass through a room and leave it brighter, braver, more human. Sue was one of them.

She stood not only in the light, but for others - to lift, to protect, to remind us of the dignity of our craft and the worth of every actor who dares to step into truth. Her heart made space where there was none, and her courage gave voice where there was silence.

We grieve her loss deeply. Our community feels the quiet she leaves behind.

From all of us, we hold her family and loved ones in our prayers, wrapped in gentleness and strength in this difficult time.

And to you, Sue - thank you for standing with us, and for us.
Your light does not leave. It continues in every artist you helped rise. 🤍

Women’s Month.

A small reflection on actor training, truth, and the human being behind the performance.

13/01/2026

Deeply grateful to be trusted with this space and this work. 🤍

Actor training thrives when it’s treated as nourishment, not spectacle - and it’s genuinely heartening to witness initiatives that choose rigor, care, and generosity as their compass.

This kind of collaboration reminds us that the craft grows best in community, when institutions and artists meet with shared intent: to deepen practice, sharpen tools, and honor the long road of becoming.

May there be many more rooms like this.
Many more hands willing to build them.
And many more actors allowed to grow without rush, without noise.

Two full days of listening, doing, falling forward, and finding truth - grounded in Meisner and Stanislavski’s Active Analysis, and carried by a room of deeply committed actors from AktorPh and the Theater Actors Guild . The work was generous, focused, and quietly brave; everyone showed up for themselves and for the craft in a way that stays with you long after the room empties.

Congratulations to AktorPh for this initiative, and heartfelt thanks to the Film Academy of the Philippines for holding space for it to happen. ✨
