𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝟰𝟯𝗥𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗬𝗥𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗘𝗡. 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗢 “𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗬” 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗢, 𝗝𝗥. 🎗️

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines, with the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation, Manila International Airport Authority, Human Rights Violations Victims’ Memorial Commission, Spirit of EDSA Foundation, Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation, Project Gunita, August Twenty-One Movement, Chino Roces Foundation, NAMSERV, and Earthsaver; will lead the commemoration of the 43rd anniversary of the Martyrdom of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. on Friday, 21 August 2026, 8:00 a.m., at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 in Parañaque City. NHCP Chair Regalado Trota Jose, Jr. will lead the simple flower offering alongside representatives from the various government and civil society organizations joining the event.

Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. is a prominent political figure in our nation’s history. Known as a staunch political critic of then President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr., he was one of the first members of the opposition arrested upon the declaration of Martial Law in September 1972. He spent the next eight years incarcerated in military stockades and prison camps on various charges to which he vehemently maintained his innocence in. He continued to struggle for justice while incarcerated, famously undertaking a 40-day long Hunger Strike in 1975 in protest of the military court-martial. In 1980, he suffered a heart attack while in prison and was subsequently allowed to leave the country for treatment where he would stay in exile until 1983 when he went home amidst serious threats to his life. On 21 August 1983, he was killed upon arrival at the then-Manila International Airport. His death is widely recognized as a watershed moment in the resistance and calls for political reform that culminated in the massive turn-out for his funeral procession and later the 1986 People Power Revolution. Republic Act No. 9256 proclaimed 21 August as Ninoy Aquino Day, a Special Non-Working Holiday.

Oo. Magkaiba ang gamit ng dalawang terminong ito.

ay isang pangkalahatang terminong madalas gamitin sa mga advisories ng mga LGU upang madaling maunawaan ng publiko. Samantalang ang "Face-to-Face Classes Suspended" naman ang opisyal na terminolohiyang ginagamit ng DepEd sa pagpapatupad ng class suspension alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024.

𝗔𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼?

Magkaiba man ang gamit ng dalawang termino, iisa ang epekto sa pagpapatupad ng class suspension sa mga paaralan ng DepEd.

👨🏻‍🏫𝙋𝘼𝙍𝘼 𝙎𝘼 𝙈𝙂𝘼 𝙈𝘼𝙂-𝘼𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙇:
✅ Walang in-person o face-to-face classes.
✅ Maaaring magpatuloy ang pagkatuto sa pamamagitan ng Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) o iba pang learning continuity measures, kung ligtas, posible, at naaangkop, alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026.
📢 Sundin ang opisyal na anunsyo ng inyong paaralan tungkol sa learning arrangements.

👩🏻‍💻𝙋𝘼𝙍𝘼 𝙎𝘼 𝙎𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙇 𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙊𝙉𝙉𝙀𝙇:
✅ Hindi required ang on-site reporting ng teaching at non-teaching personnel.
✅ Maaaring ipatupad ang remote work arrangements at iba pang learning and service continuity measures.
🚨 Tanging ang mga personnel na may security, safety, finance, engineering, sanitation, health, at disaster response duties ang maaaring i-require na mag-report on-site 𝐊𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐍, alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024.

📌𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗔𝗡:
✔️ Prayoridad ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at kawani. (DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024)
✔️ Tinitiyak din ang pagpapatuloy ng pagkatuto at mahahalagang serbisyo sa pamamagitan ng learning at service continuity measures. (DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026)

📢𝗠𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗟𝗔:
Ang "Face-to-Face Classes Suspended", o ang na ginagamit sa mga advisories ng LGU para sa mga paaralan, ay HINDI awtomatikong nangangahulugang "walang pagkatuto" o "walang trabaho."

Layunin ng DepEd na mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at kawani habang tinitiyak ang pagpapatuloy ng pagkatuto at mahahalagang serbisyo, kung ligtas, posible, at naaangkop.

🇵🇭🇵🇭𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗔𝗡!🇵🇭🇵🇭

The 128th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine independence is set to be celebrated simultaneously in various sites throughout the country.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will lead the flag raising and wreath laying ceremony in the Jose Rizal National Monument in Rizal Park Luneta, Manila. He will be accompanied by NHCP Chair Regalado Trota Jose, Jr., top government officials, and members of the diplomatic corps. This will be followed by the Parada ng Kalayaan at the Quirino Grandstand.

Meanwhile, similar ceremonies will be held in the following sites:
• Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine, Kawit, Cavite with Governor Francisco Gabriel "Abeng" Remulla as guest of honor
• Andres Bonifacio National Monument, Caloocan City with Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rexlon "Rex" Gatchalian as guest of honor
• Barasoain Church Historical Landmark, Malolos City, Bulacan with NHCP Board Member and Philippine Historical Association president Francis "Chas" Navarro as guest of honor
• Pinaglabanan Memorial Shrine, San Juan City with Foreign Affairs Secretary Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro as guest of honor
• Museo ng Kasaysayang Panlipunan ng Pilipinas, Angeles City with Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo as guest of honor; and,
• Mausoleo de los Veteranos de la Revolucion, Manila with National Defense Undersecretary Ireneo Espino as guest of honor

In addition, local government units and Philippine embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions are encouraged to hold ceremonies and activities to celebrate Independence Day.

It has been 128 years since the Filipino revolutionary government led by President Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed our nation’s independence from Spanish rule in Kawit, Cavite in 1898. Independence Day was celebrated until 1901 when the First Philippine Republic ended. After our independence was recognized internationally, it was celebrated on 4 July from 1946 until 1964 when Republic Act No. 4166 restored June 12 as Independence Day.

📢 BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026
June 1-5, 2026

Tara na’t makiisa, makibahagi sa pagkilos para sa kabataang Pilipino! Ang lahat ay inaanyayahang makiisa sa Brigada Eskwela 2026 na may temang: “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman”

Malugod naming inaanyayahan ang lahat ng mga magulang, alumni, barangay officials, private partners, volunteers, civic organizations, at iba pang stakeholders na makiisa sa taunang Brigada Eskwela.

Ang Brigada Eskwela ay hindi lamang paglilinis ng paaralan kundi isang sama-samang pagkilos upang maihanda ang ligtas, maayos at kaaya-ayang kapaligiran para sa ating mga mag-aaral sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng klase.

📌Makiisa. Makibahagi. Magbrigada na!
Sama-sama nating ipakita ang diwa ng bayanihan para sa mas handa at mas matatag na paaralan.

The Olo National High School Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD)/ Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) Officers conducted the Bullying Awareness and Prevention Campaign dubbed 'No Bully Mas Happy'.
This activity aims to prevent bullying, and to create a positive learning environment in the school.

Kaisa ang buong Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa paggunita sa kabayanihan ni Dr. Jose Rizal ngayong Disyembre 30, sa pagdiriwang ng Rizal Day.

Sa ika-129 na anibersaryo ng kanyang pagpanaw, ating alalahanin hindi lamang ang kanyang sakripisyo, kundi isabuhay ang mga aral na kanyang iniwan: ang malalim na pagmamahal sa bayan, paninindigan sa katotohanan, at pananalig sa kapangyarihan ng edukasyon.
