SSLG President ELLAINE LARA S. AGNE of Macarang NHS emerged victorious as District SSLG President in the recently conducted District SSLG Election held at Bogtong NHS.
SSLG Vice President, Jeremieh Claire F. Cayaban, was also elected as Auditor of the District SSLG.

The best way to hone young people into great leaders is to be one!

Earlier this day, Macarang National High School conducted an election for the Supreme Secondary Learners Government. This election aims to practice our learners' rights to choose a set of student leaders who will represent the entire student community.

After days of campaigning for their cause, every candidate, regardless of their party, made their own marks to impress their fellow students and express themselves.

With their pens, McNHS young voters shaded for the names of their chosen leaders. With the indelible ink stained on their fingers, they imprinted their support for electoral fraud as they pressed it into their own ballot.

Tabulated by assigned teachers and assisted by grade 12 learners, the results in each classroom were collected and then summed as a whole. For a transparent result, the collected numbers of votes were displayed on a TV screen in McNHS covered court for everyone to see.

In this leadership competition, only those selected by the student community will come out victorious! But bear in mind that they are not only fighting for their own cause; they are also fighting today and until the end of their term for the sake of your community—your bright and thriving student community!
