A total of 81 beneficiaries of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) started to render 10-day service at Mangatarem National High School on August 19, 2026, Wednesday.

Despite the continuous rains, TUPAD beneficiaries tirelessly helped in maintaining the cleanliness within the school premises, a strong showing of our shared commitment to sustaining a clean and safe learning environment.

MNHS School Head, Dr. Elvira C. Viray, along with the teachers and non-teaching staff, extend their profound gratitude to Mangatarem Public Employment Service Office (PESO) for choosing our school as part of this initiative.

ADVISORY: In light of the continuing inclement weather conditions brought by southwest monsoon, Mangatarem National High School will still implement modular distance learning (MDL) on August 11, 2026, Tuesday.

This decision was made in compliance to the executive order issued by the Office of Municipal Mayor declaring the suspension of face-to-face class at all levels in all public and private schools in Mangatarem on the said date.

ADVISORY: Pursuant to Executive Order No. 184, series of 2026 issued by the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Mangatarem National High School will implement modular distance learning (MDL) on August 5, 2026, Wednesday.

The said executive order declared the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools in Mangatarem on the said date due to inclement weather that pummels the town.

Banking on adequate support for our beloved teachers, 202 units of voice lapel devices were provided and distributed to the teaching staff of Mangatarem National High School. The said initiative was part of the voice lapel devices purchased through the Office of the President Social Fund in coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd), providing classroom educators with equipment that can amplify their voices while teaching.

During the ceremonial turnover held on July 30, 2026 at the MNHS Covered Hall, the Mangatarem National High School teaching staff, under the leadership of Dr. Elvira C. Viray, Principal IV, expressed their immense gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and DepEd Secretary Sonny M. Angara for the provision of the devices that would make classroom instruction easier and safer by reducing the need for teachers to repeatedly raise or strain their voices during instruction.

ADVISORY: Mangatarem National High School will implement modular distance learning (MDL) on August 3, 2026, Monday, in compliance with the Executive Order No. 183, series of 2026 issued by the Office of the Municipal Mayor declaring the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools in Mangatarem due to possible inclement weather caused by the Tropical Depression ‘Luis’ and enhanced southwest monsoon.

ADVISORY: As part of the precautionary measure on possible inclement weather caused by the southwest monsoon or habagat, the municipal government of Mangatarem suspends classes at levels, in both public and private schools in the town, on July 27, 2026, Monday.

Pursuant to the executive order, Mangatarem National High School will implement modular distance learning to ensure that all learning competencies intended for the said date are met while safeguarding the safety of learners, teachers, and non-teaching personnel.

As part of the proactive measures of Mangatarem National High School in ensuring the safety and security of its learners, teachers and staff, the school conducted a random security check on June 21, 2026, Tuesday.

Upon entry on the school gate, learners lined up, underwent security check and passed through metal detectors.

Dr. Elvira C. Viray, Principal IV, supervised the implementation of the said measure. Department heads and teachers, along with school security personnel, joined forces to carry out the security check protocols.
