Mangatarem NHS Scouts

With high spirits and unwavering determination, the senior scouts of Mangatarem National High School, as proud members of the Pangasinan-San Carlos City Council (PSCC Council), actively participated in the 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗲 held from 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭–𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 at 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗰, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱, 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗰, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲.

This year’s regional jamboree was a resounding success, offering a series of dynamic module activities that immersed scouts in adventure, camaraderie, and skill-building. From wilderness survival to teamwork exercises, our scouts embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, gaining invaluable lessons on 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔, and 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆—qualities that embody the true spirit of scouting.

Under the leadership of the talented and seasoned 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗙. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮, and with the unwavering guidance of Scouters 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗠. 𝗧𝘂𝘇𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗖. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘇, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘇 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻, Mangatarem NHS shined brightly, contributing to the PSCC Council’s remarkable achievements:

🥈 Jazz Chant - 2nd Place

This success would not have been possible without the support of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗖. 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆, school head of Mangatarem National High School. Her dedication to student development and unwavering encouragement played a vital role in empowering our senior scouts to perform their best and uphold the values of scouting.

The experience not only showcased the skills and talents of our 31 senior scouts but also reinforced values of 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆, 𝒄𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, and 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔—principles that will guide them both in scouting and in life.

Indeed, the jamboree was more than an event; it was a celebration of teamwork, learning, and the enduring mission of being "𝙇𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖" in service and action.

Mangatarem National High School gleams with pride as one of its alumni, Rafaela R. Tadeo, emerged as one of the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme (CGSMS) awardees.

The award will be bestowed to Tadeo, together with other national awardees, during the Chief Girl Scout Medal Presentation Ceremony to be held on November 15, 2023 at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine Intenational Convention Center (PICC).

We are proud of your dedication and remarkable efforts for which you displayed love for your community, discipline, and strong sense of responsibility - the true hallmarks of a visionary and empowering leader.
