Ngayong Oceans Month, kilalanin natin ang sea cucumber o “balat” na isa sa mga tahimik ngunit mahalagang nilalang sa karagatan.
Tumutulong itong linisin ang ilalim ng dagat sa pamamagitan ng pagkain ng organic waste upang mapanatiling malinis at balanse ang marine ecosystem na mahalaga sa mga isda at coral reefs.
Maliit man tingnan, malaki ang papel nito sa kalusugan ng ating karagatan.
