📣 URGENT TRAFFIC ADVISORY & CLASS SUSPENSION ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Please be informed that all morning sessions will be suspended tomorrow, Monday, May 11, 2026 and Afternoon session will be scheduled as it is.

This is in response to the traffic advisory issued by the Mangaldan Municipal Police Station regarding the MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026. Major roads in Mangaldan, including Barangays Pogo, Bantayan, Salay, Poblacion, and Banaoang, will be affected by rerouting and heightened security from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

We encourage everyone to plan your travels accordingly to avoid the expected heavy traffic in the identified areas.

At Luminaries, our preschool group this week activities don't just ask 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒆 1, 2, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 3. instead We turn numbers into a hands-on adventure where every child can actually "see" the math happen:

• 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆: Using our interactive counting trees, our students move from just saying numbers to truly understanding quantity through one-to-one correspondence.
• 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓: Our learners take the lead by using pointers with our large-scale displays, which helps them master number recognition and sequencing from 1 all the way to 20.
• 𝑨 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕: We guide small hands as they trace and write numbers on color-coded mats, turning a big task into a fun, supervised achievement.
• 𝑳𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒚: Through matching games and object-grouping, we help our kids build the cognitive "muscle" they need to solve problems and think logically.

By moving away from rote memorization and toward intentional, hands-on discovery, we ensure our little learners builds a foundation that is as deep as it is joyful.

This week, our little learners from our Playschool group explored the exciting world of weather, from sunny skies and fluffy clouds to windy days and rainy scenes. Through hands-on activities like charts, creating a their own paper windmill and a playful experiments, the children discovered how weather shapes our everyday lives. 🌍🎨🌈
