MISSC's SSLG President and SDO Pangasinan II's DFSSLG President Raiel Jhalocha S. Bianan will preside the newly established Pangasinan Children's Organization.

The establishment of the said organization happened today during the Young Leaders' Congress held at the Provincial Training and Development Center, Lingayen, Pangasinan. Participants of the event were youth leaders from Pangasinan I, Pangasinan II, IP learners, various religious groups, LGBTQIA+, and out-of-school youth. The youth congress primarily focused on the different forms of child protection, levels of organization and community participation of youth, and successful steps in advocacy building. Identification of pressing concerns in the province as perceived by different youth groups was also shared, and steps to minimize their impact were enumerated.

In his inspirational message, Governor Ramon V. Guico III emphasized that the province' greatest investment will always be on the youth. The provincial government swore to involve youth leaders in planning and organizing development goals and objectives for the province. The governor also vowed to provide opportunities to harness skills and develop the potential of young leaders and, while doing so, to become champions of values and not become peddlers of negative information and ill-advised practices.

Accompanying Mr. Bianan are Mrs. Jinky T. Enriquez, MISSC's SSLG Adviser; Mr. Chito M. Grullo, the DFSSLG Adviser; and Mrs. Marlie S. Jimenez, Project Development Officer I under Learners Formation Division and Child Protection Specialist of SDO Pangasinan II.

Enhanced Safety and Security Measures in MISSC:

The Mangaldan Integrated School SPED Center fortified its safety and security measures in line with the recent events involving public schools in various parts of the country. These measures aim to prevent similar incidence for the safety and security of learners and school personnel.

Overseeing the implementation were Dr. Leo E. Blaquir, Principal IV, Dr. Meredith Ann C. Cerezo, Assistant Principal I, and Mr. Cyprus Justine P. Bianan, JHS Head Teacher I.

Joining the advocacy were PNP Mangaldan, Barangay Tanod of Barangay Bantayan, SDRRM Personnel, SSLG Adviser, and SSLG Officers.

The school community asks parents, guardians, and other stakeholders of MISSC to be patient and bear with the changes for the welfare of our studentry.

Mangaldan ISSC Opens School Year 2026–2027 with Enthusiastic Return of Learners

Mangaldan Integrated School SPED Center officially opened School Year 2026–2027 on June 8, welcoming thousands of learners back to campus with energy and excitement.

The day began with a flag ceremony attended by learners, teachers, and school staff. Afterward, learners proceeded to their classrooms where advisers conducted orientation sessions. These sessions covered school policies, class schedules, expectations, and key reminders for the academic year.

School Principal IV Dr. Leo E. Blaquir led the opening activities, emphasizing the school’s commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered environment. He encouraged students to stay motivated and make the most of the opportunities ahead.

Students arrived with bright smiles and eager minds, showing enthusiasm as they reconnected with classmates and met their teachers. The strong turnout and positive atmosphere reflected their readiness to learn and achieve their goals.

The opening of classes marks not just the start of another academic year, but also the beginning of new dreams and aspirations for the learners of Mangaldan ISSC. School officials expressed optimism for a productive year filled with growth, excellence, and meaningful achievements.

The SPTA General Assembly and PTA Orientation was successfully conducted on June 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with the active participation of parents, guardians, and stakeholders. The activity was led by School Principal IV Dr. Leo E. Blaquir, together with OIC Assistant Principal I (Senior High School) Merideth Ann Cerezo, the Junior High School Head Teacher I Cyprus Justine Bianan, and the SPTA Officers headed by President Ronald Allan T. Sison.

This event marked the beginning of a strengthened partnership between the school and its stakeholders for the School Year 2026–2027, setting a collaborative tone for a productive and meaningful academic year.

Bona Inaugurates LGU-Funded MISSC Classrooms

Three newly built classrooms for the Junior High School were inaugurated by Mayor Bonafe Parayno on June 9, 2026.

The constructed building was a joint initiative of the LGU Mangaldan and the Department of Education to ease the shortage of classrooms for Junior High School learners.

Present during the inauguration were Dr. Minerva D. Serafica, the SPTA officials, the Barangay Council, select teaching and non-teaching staff, and SSLG and SELG Officers.

The blessing of the building was conducted by Father Pierre, parish priest of Capilla De Beato Juan Martinez of Brgy. Bantayan.

Brigada Eskwela officially kicks off at MISSC

The nationwide “Brigada Eskwela” kickoff program was officially launched at MISSC, led by Dr. Leo E.Blaquir, on June 8, 2026.

The weeklong school preparation before the new school year begins involves participation from the school Parents-Teachers Association, led by Mr. Allan Sison, along with stakeholders, TUPAD workers, 4P’s recipients, the LGUs, the barangay council, and other partners.

Donations have also been received from various organizations responding to the call to help prepare MISSC as a school ready to welcome learners.

Donations are still welcome throughout this week-long preparation, whether in cash or in kind.
