A morning made brighter through kindness and community! ✨ Today at 7:00 AM, UCLM students were welcomed with a free breakfast initiative led by the Chancellor and organized by GADSO.

Beyond the food, the event created a space for students to feel valued, connected, and supported. It’s moments like these that reflect the true essence of the UC community—where care, unity, and shared experiences come first.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

On 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the event officially opened with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Brochures were distributed to students to raise awareness about the importance of women’s rights and gender inclusivity, while cakes were shared with the administrators as a simple yet heartfelt gesture of appreciation for their continued support.

The activities continued on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 with an engaging and informative seminar conducted for the Women’s Organizations of Barangay Opao, Mandaue City, and Barangay Looc, Mandaue City. Guided by the theme “𝗪𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆,” the session emphasized the importance of equal opportunities, respect, and collective action in building a community where everyone feels valued and empowered.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for leading the giving of cakes during the opening of our Women’s Month on March 23, 2026. This thoughtful gesture not only brought joy to our administrators but also reflected the organization’s dedication, generosity, and active support in making the event more meaningful.

Your inspiring message and meaningful insights greatly enriched the discussion and left a lasting impact on everyone who attended.

Nothing beats a breakfast filled with energy, smiles, and UC spirit! 🎉 Earlier today at 7:00 AM, the Chancellor served a free breakfast to all students at UCLM, carefully served by GADSO. From the food to the positive energy, it was a morning that united all of us in the UC community.

This little act reminds us all that we are indeed one UC family, supporting each other every step of the way! Thank you to the Chancellor and to GADSO for making the start of the day a little brighter, and our tummies a little happier! 🥐☕
