Cebu Doctorsโ€™ University (CDU) reinforced its commitment to transformative healthcare education and research through the successful conduct of : 4th CDU International Research Congress held on April 28-30, 2026, at the CDU Auditorium, Mandaue City, Cebu.

Centered on the theme, โ€œEmpowering Health Research through Evidence-Based Practice and Innovation,โ€ the congress gathered researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, innovators, and students in a collaborative platform that highlighted emerging trends and innovations in health research.

The conference was organized through the CDU Research Council in collaboration with the and the RDLEAD-JBI Program. It also highlighted the Universityโ€™s continuing efforts to strengthen the connection between academic research and innovation commercialization. PANGLANTAW 2026 featured paper podium presentations, pitching competitions, health technology booths, poster exhibits, infographics, and infomercials showcasing diverse research outputs and innovative initiatives. The congress also hosted : Health Innovation Bootcamp and the inaugural launch of the Universityโ€™s research centers.

Lecture sessions on evidence synthesis, artificial intelligence, and strategic frameworks for establishing research centers further enriched discussions on the future of healthcare research and innovation.

First launched in 2023 and formally introduced in 2024, PANGLANTAW, derived from the Cebuano word for โ€œvisionโ€, reflects CDUโ€™s forward-looking perspective in advancing research, innovation, and commercialization in healthcare and allied sciences.

The Steering Committee chaired by Dr. Emmalyn Cutamora, also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the CDU administration, conference partners, sponsors, speakers, presenters, participants, and everyone who took part in and supported PANGLANTAW 2026.
