Eugene has been studying at EMO international kindergarten in CEBU Philippines for 6 months now.
He only knew uppercase letters when I assessed him.
He was feeling down, thinking he was the only one who couldn't keep up in class.
Thankfully, despite finding English difficult and uncomfortable, he never mentioned not wanting to attend kindergarten, which reminded me of what his mother said at the beginning.
As time went by, Eugene voice grew louder, and his curiosity about how to respond and the meanings of words increased, showing that he was immersing himself in English. Today, after 6 months, Eugene is telling a story in English, incorporating his friend Lavin's name.
Isn't his sound of English so natural?
I'm truly moved and very proud to see Eugene's remarkable growth!
