Help yourself move beyond.

Goals can provide direction and even push you forward in the short-term, but eventually, a well-designed system will move you forward. Having a system matters but never imprison or enslave yourself to it or you'll find yourself stuck in a hole and later realize that you're only moving in circles and not moving forward.

Design your system as a guide or as a track you get back to when you're uncertain of something. Design it to lead you back to your plan and not sway from it

Getting lost or creating mistakes is part of the process but committing to the process is what makes the difference. 👌👌

This is a common mistake designers who are still trying to find themselves make, even I'm guilty of this but that doesn't stop me from learning from it.

Knowing and being able to understand who your customers are will provide a kind of cheat sheet for you when defining your design decisions.

Let's be open and remind ourselves that we are designing a solution for a problem and this solution requires us to be more data-informed and not a solution that we assumingly create in our heads.

How do we turn weaknesses into strengths?

This has been mentally and psychologically challenging for me and it took quite some time to even just acknowledge that I do have a weakness.

Unlike a physical weakness that you can spot if you pay close attention just by listening to your body, a weakness that's formed in your mind can take quite a toll if you leave and ignore it for too long. It's like carrying a sack of rice and never getting the chance or the opportunity to put it down, making it heavier and heavier as time passes

But once you go face to face and acknowledge this weakness, it changes your balance and your views on certain things. The journey to self-awareness is long but worth the trip when you get there

Would you consider the time we're living now the new age of creativity? Would you consider thriving brands now as the new creative movement?

Questions that can easily be answered if not ignored. Creativity is about being a better problem solver.

Adding the right mix of creativity can lead to better communication, better communication improves creative expression and that creative expression plays a key role in emotional development

Business is nothing without people. Be a business for people.
