Continuing our 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣, Episode 2 of The YES-O Chronicles shines the spotlight on three of Comprehensian YES-O Club’s young trailblazers: YES-O Vice President 𝗭𝘆𝗿𝗲𝗸 𝗔𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮, Secretary 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗻, and Treasurer 𝗥𝘆𝗻𝘀 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮, as they stepped into the vibrant grounds of WaterWorld, Mandaue City, Cebu last November 27–28, 2025, for the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. 💫

The first day unfolded as a space of connection and self-discovery—where strangers became allies through meaningful getting-to-know sessions, and leaders were shaped not just by skill, but by heart. Through a powerful mental health workshop, delegates explored what it truly means to lead with empathy—reflecting on questions like “Who do you run to?” and “How do you show up for others?” 💭

But the day did not end in reflection alone—it rose into action. Voices grew stronger as child representatives for Mandaue City were elected, proving that leadership is not given, but chosen, claimed, and lived. 🗳️

On Day 2, the atmosphere transformed into a celebration of purpose as the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 took center stage. With pride and hope filling the air, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗼 "𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗲" 𝗢𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗼 delivered the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀—reminding every young leader present that their voices matter, their rights are vital, and their role in shaping the future is now. 🫡

From shared stories to strengthened purpose, what began as a simple gathering became a wave of empowered youth, ready to lead with compassion and courage. And as our YES-O officers returned, they carried with them not just lessons—but a deeper understanding that true leadership begins within. 💚

The tide is only beginning to rise. The National Children's Congress highlighted how self-awareness and compassion for others are few of the vital traits of a true leader. ✨
