📢 ADVISORY | ASH FALL WARNING

Due to the ash fall caused by the ongoing activity of Mt. Kanlaon, face-to-face classes are suspended today.

📚 Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) will be implemented. Students are advised to stay at home and accomplish the learning tasks provided by their teachers.

For everyone's safety:
😷 Wear a face mask when going outside.
🏠 Stay indoors as much as possible.
💧 Drink plenty of water.
📱 Monitor official announcements from DepEd and local authorities.

𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗘 | 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗬 𝟭𝟬

The suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private schools in Mandaue City, is hereby extended until Friday, July 10, following further assessment by our City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), due to the possible effects of volcanic ashfall from Kanlaon Volcano.

All public schools shall temporarily shift to Distance Learning Modalities, while private schools are encouraged to adopt the same or implement appropriate academic arrangements.

Bisan og dili na kaayo makita ang ashfall sa ubang lugar, mahimo gihapon kini nga mahimong risgo sa panglawas, ilabi na sa atong mga kabataan. This additional day will also give our schools enough time to complete cleanup efforts and ensure that classrooms are safe before welcoming our students back.

We encourage everyone nga mogawas sa ilang panimalay to wear a face mask and take the necessary precautions, especially children, senior citizens, pregnant women, and those with respiratory conditions.

City Hall offices shall remain open to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of public services.

As a precautionary measure following the reported volcanic ashfall from the recent eruption of Kanlaon Volcano, face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private schools in Mandaue City, are hereby suspended until further notice.

All public schools shall temporarily shift to Distance Learning Modalities, while private schools are encouraged to adopt the same or make appropriate academic arrangements.

The City Government continues to closely monitor the situation in coordination with the concerned national agencies to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all Mandauehanons.
