What a beautiful way to come together as one Vincentian family!

Our Institutional Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Andrie Ventanilla, a proud graduate of our school, who reminded us through his homily to become โ€œArtisans of Peace and Hope.โ€ He emphasized that this calling begins with consistency, self-discipline, knowing and accepting our limitations, and having the humility to ask for help when we need it.

The celebration also honored our previous PTAA Officers for their dedicated service and support, followed by the Oath-Taking of our newly elected Homeroom Representatives and PTAA Officersโ€”another beautiful beginning of leadership and service.

We also had a simple yet heartfelt post-birthday tribute to our dear Cluster President, Sr. Gertie Q. de la Cruz, DC. Students and our Lay Mission Partners (LaMPs) shared messages of gratitude, birthday wishes, and songs, making the celebration extra meaningful.

A day filled with faith that inspires, service that connects, leadership that empowers, and gratitude that brings us together.

May we always remember:
โ€œBe consistent. Be disciplined. Know your limits. Ask for help and continue to be an Artisan of Peace and Hope.โ€

August be Ink-redible to usโ€ฆ and Inmaculadistas have doodled their way to stardom!

The TITUS INK-redible iDOODLE Challenge 2026 was held at Gaisano Mall of Cebu on August 1, 2026, carrying the theme โ€œSinulog: The Dance of Faith and Culture.โ€

Among the talented young artists who took on the challenge was Shandy Blu Cagara of Grade 10 โ€“ St. Jacobis, who proudly secured 2nd Place!

But the creativity didnโ€™t stop there!

Sketching his way to the top, Piero Xavier Eamiguel of Grade 11 โ€“ Our Lady of Mt. Carmel took on the Sketch It! With Mongol 2026 competition with the theme โ€œThe Journey Ahead of Meโ€ and shaded his way to becoming the CHAMPION!

Alongside him, another Inmaculadista sketcher, Shandy Blu Cagara of Grade 10 โ€“ St. Jacobis, once again made her mark by securing 3rd Place!

August heard us right, and our Inmaculadistas moved with good intentions, turning every line, shade, and doodle into a path toward excellence.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 164th Arrival Anniversary of the Congregation of the Mission and the Daughters of Charity in the Philippines.

May their enduring Vincentian mission continue to inspire us to serve with faith, compassion, and love. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค

๐ŸŽŠHappy Arrival Anniversary๐ŸŽŠ
Let us celebrate today the 164th Arrival Anniversary of the Congregation of the Mission (CM) and the Daughters of Charity (DC) of Saint Vincent de Paul in the Philippines ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

"At exactly 8:00 in the morning of July 22, 1862, 19 members of the Vincentian family โ€“ fifteen Daughters of Charity, two Priests of the Mission and two Vincentian brothers โ€“ came down from the boat โ€œConcepcionโ€ after more than three months of difficult travel at sea. One can only imagine how hard travel was in those days. The CMs and DCs were accommodated in the lower chamber of the ship. In present inter-island boat travels, this is equivalent to the economy class. That is manageable if we travel only for several days but not for journeys spanning several months. For those of us who are used to travel by boat, we know that the lower chamber is the most difficult place to stay โ€“ there is poor ventilation; the rocking of the boat can be strongly felt here; it is also dark and very warm. Their diaries would tell us that two Vincentians suffered from stomach trouble or headache during almost the whole trip. But one Recollect gave in; he died and had to be buried at sea just days before they reached the Manila waters. One day, a Daughter of Charity, was thrown down, rolled over the ship floor, when the ship rocked through big waves. She was not hurt; thanks be to God. Some other things happened โ€“ a sudden fire broke out, thanks to the blankets, it was extinguished; in another day, the main sail was also blown away by some big waves. On the other hand, some also celebrated their birthdays there or enjoyed beautiful liturgical celebrations from Holy Week to May Marian devotions to the feast of the Sacred Heart โ€“ which also corresponded to their months of travel โ€“ March to July of 1862."

Your CMSP Family is one with you on this very special day of your congregation. Many more God-filled years to come!

"It takes a community to raise a child, and it takes hearts united in faith, hope, and service to shape a brighter future."

Our hearts are filled with gratitude as we welcomed our dear parents and guardians to this year's Parents' General Assemblyโ€”a meaningful gathering that strengthened our shared commitment to the holistic formation of every Inmaculadista.

During the assembly, our Cluster President, Sr. Gertie Q. de la Cruz, DC, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering support, active participation, and generous cooperation of our parents in the life of our school. She reminded us that parents are our indispensable partners in nurturing children to become Artisans of Peace and Hope, living witnesses of faith, compassion, and Vincentian service.

A significant part of the gathering was the introduction of our Lay Mission Partners (LaMPs). As educators and collaborators in our Vincentian mission, they journey alongside our parents in molding not only the minds but, more importantly, the hearts of our learners. Building this connection fosters trust, collaboration, and a shared vision for every child's growth.

The assembly continued with the Homeroom Kumustahan Session, where parents met with class advisers to receive important school updates, discuss their children's academic progress and behavior, and openly share insights that will help strengthen the home-school partnership.

Another meaningful highlight was the election of the Homeroom Parent Representatives, followed by the election of the new Parents-Teachers-Administrators Association (PTAA) Officers, held at the AVR.

The election was facilitated by Sr. Gertie Q. de la Cruz, DC, Cluster President; Mme. Christie Ochavez, School Principal; and Mme. Geraldine Ellana, Director for Student Development, Well-Being and External Linkages.

As one Vincentian community, we thank every parent and guardian for your presence, trust, and commitment. Together, let us continue to walk hand in hand in forming learners who are academically competent, spiritually grounded, socially responsible, and inspired to serve others with love.

One Community. One Mission. One Vincentian Family. Together, we build a future filled with faith, hope, peace, and love.

Please be informed that the Parents' General Assembly will proceed as scheduled. See you, dear parents and guardians!
