The focus was on discussing Project R-E-A-C-H, a collaborative initiative between DepEd Mandaue and three partner Teacher Education Institutions in Mandaue. The project's objective is to familiarize Teacher Education Students with the realities of the teaching profession, providing essential information to better prepare them for their future careers. The courses offered align with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers.
A follow-up conference occurred on November 21, 2023, where the Teacher Education Institutions engaged in discussions with Atty Marinel Oro to establish a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The department eagerly anticipates the project's progress, recognizing its potential to enhance the employability of our teacher education students.
