To use it correctly, just remember the word PASS.
P is for PULL: Twist and pull the safety pin out to break the plastic seal. (Action: Pull the pin dramatically and hold it up).
A is for AIM: Do not aim at the dancing flames. Aim low, directly at the base of the fire where the fuel is. (Action: Stand 6 to 8 feet back and point the nozzle low).
S is for SQUEEZE: Squeeze these top handles together firmly to discharge the agent. (Action: Give a quick, half-second burst into the demo pit).
S is for SWEEP:
Sweep the nozzle side to side across the base of the fire until it is completely out. (Action: Motion the sweeping path left to right).
