As a precautionary measure following the reported volcanic ashfall from the recent eruption of Kanlaon Volcano, face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private schools in Mandaue City, are hereby suspended until further notice.

All public schools shall temporarily shift to Distance Learning Modalities, while private schools are encouraged to adopt the same or make appropriate academic arrangements.

The City Government continues to closely monitor the situation in coordination with the concerned national agencies to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all Mandauehanons.

Leonard Wood Elementary School successfully conducted its First General PTA Assembly, led by our dedicated School Principal, Mr. Oyar Flores . The assembly served as an avenue to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in ensuring quality education and holistic development for our learners.

We sincerely thank all parents and guardians and Kap Marydith M. Montesa who led the Oath Taking of the PTA Officers and actively participated in the discussions and plans for the school year.
