Math, Physics and Engineering are three different field of studies.
•Mathematics is the abstract science of number, quantity, and space.
•Physics is the the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy.
•Engineering is the branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures.

Application of Math is Physics and application of Physics is Engineering. Math creates abstract mathematical ideas and knowledge from logic. Physics uses this abstract ideas to create a reason on natural phenomenon and also creates formulas. While Engineering uses this formulas from physics to be applied in building and making human life comfortable. In addition, engineering have this formulas that comes directly from experiments which is called emperical formulas. No need to dive into very in depth math while taking engineering. It is more reasonable to dive into in depth physics while taking engineering for me. Some engineering fields really need in depth math specially those fields that are dealing with micro studies. But while taking physics, in depth math is important like calculus specially in physics 2 and higher.
