JUST IN: Due to the extended ECQ in NCR Plus area, OVPAA declares the suspension of synchronous and asynchronous classes in the undergraduate level, SHS, and LHS from April 6 to 11, 2021.

Call for: Joint Petition of Student Organizations for Suspension of Classes

Upon the imposition and the recent extension of ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (ECQ), until April 11, 2021, many industries are once again restricted given that we go through the same measures, our current mental and emotional stability worsen and this ECQ greatly affects the income for some of our student’s family making it a burden to sustain, and not only the daily supplication but also the resource to be able to attend online class seems to be a privilege. (because most students are without access to internet and is using mobile data to be able to be able to cope with the synchronous classes).

In solidarity, we are united in standing with the students for providing pro-student policy and inclusive education with the rights given to us by the Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines and with all other statutory laws, Memorandum Orders of the Commission of Higher Education, of the University Code and under the RTU Student Government Code

With this in mind we humbly request for the postponement of the Synchronous and Asynchronous sessions until the ECQ is lift.

To be able to provide a crucial breathing room for students that are struggling financially to cope up and give them a chance to focus their expenses on essential need until they regain financial stability.

ANNOUNCEMENT: In observance of the Holy Week, online classes and modality shift to asynchronous session are hereby suspended from March 31 to April 4, 2021 (Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday). It is hereby emphasized that no activity should be assigned to the students.
