Happy Birthday, Mama Mary!

Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The prophecy announces that a virgin will bear a son who will be called Emmanuel, meaning “God with us.” - (Matthew 1:23, 18-23)

As we celebrate the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may we imitate her humility, faith, and wholehearted obedience to the will of God. May she continue to guide us closer to her Son, Jesus.

Hail Mary Prayer

Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Tarlac
📍 Pampanga
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Batangas
📍 Occidental Mindoro

The measure is in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and poor air quality in the NCR caused by haze from severe forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia.

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.
