Success tastes even sweeter after all the sacrifices, challenges, and sleepless nights that came with this journey. Yesterday, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯𝟬𝟭, we officially completed one of the biggest milestones in our academic journey as we successfully defended our research study. What once felt overwhelming became possible through patience, teamwork, determination, and faith in our abilities. The moment became even more meaningful during the giving of certificates, symbolizing the recognition of all the hard work and dedication poured into this achievement.

This final defense was not only about presenting our study, but also about celebrating the growth, experiences, and lessons we gained along the way. From endless revisions to moments of doubt and pressure, every step became part of a story we will always be proud of. After months of hard work, sleepless nights, revisions, computations, and dedication, we are finally presenting our research study. This milestone reflects not only our passion for mathematics education but also our commitment to creating meaningful and innovative learning experiences for students.

As a 3rd year mathematics students, we proudly share our journey of discovering new possibilities and breaking boundaries in math learning.

Last April 30, 2026, the 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 gathered to celebrate the Culminating Activity with the theme, “𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦.” 📚➕

Last 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a meaningful day of learning and service unfolded at the 𝐔𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 as 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, together with their 𝙁𝙎 1 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙧, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗮, conducted an outreach program dedicated to strengthening young learners’ numeracy skills.

From 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 20 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙 6 𝙩𝙤 8 engaged in interactive and fun-filled activities focused on the basic operations of Mathematics, the 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Through creative teaching strategies and hands-on exercises, the learners were guided in building confidence and a deeper understanding of fundamental math concepts.

This initiative not only fostered academic growth among the participants but also highlighted the commitment of future educators to extend learning beyond the classroom and into the community.

On March 29, 2026, the Mathematics Department of Rizal Technological University’s (RTU) College of Education (CEd), led by Asst. Prof. Belen B. Balbuena conducted a community learning session for 20 youth participants from Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City, is enhancing its basic mathematical and analytical skills through an extension program called “UPventure in Math: Building Strong Foundations in Mathematics”. Held last 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯𝟬𝟮, the event became a meaningful space where knowledge and practice seamlessly came together. Aspiring mathematics educators showcased not only their understanding of concepts but also their ability to communicate, innovate, and inspire through teaching.

Beyond the numbers and formulas, what stood out most was the commitment to 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚. Each participant contributed to an environment that fostered learning, confidence, and professional development.
