ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Halina’t makiisa sa ating pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 sa Angeli Dei School! Sama-sama nating tuklasin ang kasiyahan ng mga Larong Pinoy at iba’t ibang gawaing magpapaigting ng ating pagmamahal sa kulturang Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng masaya at makabuluhang pagkatuto.

Isang araw ng laro, tawanan, pagkatuto, at pagkakaisa ang naghihintay sa ating mga munting mag-aaral. Tara na at sama-sama nating likhain ang masasayang alaala habang ipinagdiriwang ang ating mayamang kulturang Pilipino!

In accordance with the advisory issued by the Local Government of Mandaluyong, classes from Preschool to Grade 12, in both public and private schools are suspended today, Friday, July 10, 2026, due to the expected heavy rainfall brought about by Typhoon Inday.

The safety and well-being of our students, parents, and school personnel remain our highest priority. We encourage everyone to stay indoors, monitor official weather updates, and take the necessary precautions during this period of inclement weather.
