This December 30, we commemorate the 129th anniversary of the martyrdom of our national hero, Dr. José P. Rizal, executed at Bagumbayan (now Rizal Park) in 1896.

Through his powerful writings, Rizal became the voice of the Filipino people—awakening patriotism, courage, and the pursuit of freedom. Today, we honor his life, his works, and the ideals he sacrificed for.
