HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
Eulogio Rodriguez Integrated School formerly known as Eulogio Rodriguez Elementary School was first named as Hagdang Bato Barrio School in honor of former Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, Hon. by virtue of Resolution No. 122 passed by the Mandaluyong Council which appropriated the amount of P8,000.00 for the construction of the two-room building with the provision of
completing a four room project for Grade III and Grade IV classes who were sent to Mandaluyong Elementary School for Grade V and Grade VI level of instruction. The construction of a shop building was borne solely by the municipal government. The name was then changed to Eulogio Rodriguez Elementary School right after the organization of the intermediate grades. In 1947, it became independent with Mr. Andres Evangelista as its first principal. It is then followed by number of principals who contributed to its development and improvement: Mrs. Resurreccion; Mrs. Angelita Vera Cruz; Mrs. Lydia Javier; Mrs. Leticia de Guzman; Mr. Mamerto Cañete; Mrs. Ana; Mrs. Erlinda T. Celestial; Mrs. Felicitas S. Ventura who were all promoted to supervisor position. When Mandaluyong became a City, Mrs. Sylvia C. Liwanag, assumed office followed by Mrs. Ruth B. Deri; Dr. Josefina L. Atog; Ms. Josefina A. Anselmo; Dr. Caridad C. Lucero; Mrs. Levy Taleser, OIC; Dr. Veneranda A. Raz, OIC for 4 months; Mrs. Gregoria L. Ignacio; Mrs. Janet M. Mariano, Mrs. Emma G. Arrubio, Dr. Alyn G. Mendoza OIC for one (1) month and is presently headed by Dr. Efren S. Consemino. At present, it does not accommodate Grade School pupils only but, Secondary students as well since a newly constructed building has been funded and blessed by the National government. ERES was then named as Eulogio Rodriguez Integrated School (ERIS) in 2009. As an integrated school, it developed strong ties with LGUs, NGOs and the GPTCA to uphold the envisioned Child-friendly environment with the support of the administrators, teaching and the non-teaching staff.
