Neurofunctional Needling | Dry Needling Levels 1 & 2
Formerly Myofascial Needling, this course has evolved into a more complete Neurofunctional Approach to Needling.
The focus is not simply on where to place the needle.
It is on how to integrate needling into your clinical reasoning through:
Assess → Test → Target → Needle → Retest → Reinforce
Participants learn how to combine:
• Functional assessment
• Muscle testing
• Motor point needling
• Neuromuscular targeting
• Manual medicine
• Clinical reassessment
• Exercise and rehabilitation
Level 1 – From Motor Point to Movement introduces the core neurofunctional framework and teaches clinicians how to identify meaningful findings, select appropriate targets, treat, and immediately reassess the response.
Level 2 – Advanced Neurofunctional Needling & Electrotherapy builds on this approach with more complex presentations, advanced motor point applications, electrotherapy, cervical and craniofacial applications, and deeper integration with manual therapy and rehabilitation.
And importantly, this is not only for clinicians who are new to dry needling.
Even if you have completed one of our previous needling courses — or trained in dry needling elsewhere — this course is still highly worthwhile because the emphasis is on clinical reasoning, motor-point application, reassessment, manual medicine and rehabilitation integration, rather than simply learning another list of needling locations.
The aim is simple:
Don’t just needle where it hurts.
Know what you are targeting, why you are targeting it, and what you expect to change.
Needling should complement the clinical skills you already have—not exist as a stand-alone technique.
From Motor Point to Movement.
