A new chapter begins with hope. ๐Ÿ’™โœ๏ธ

One of the highlights of the EnChild Philippines Study Tour 2026 was the scholarship signing ceremony between our sponsors and the eight ( 8 ) new scholar beneficiaries from Manuel L. Quezon High School. Five ( 5 ) beneficiaries will be supported by our Japanese sponsors, and three ( 3 ) beneficiaries will be supported by our local staff, one of the volunteer staff before, Ate Ruby Gallego Korsun.

As we celebrate this new beginning, may we, as EnChild scholars, continue to study with gratitude, perseverance, and purpose. And who knows? One day, we might be the ones giving another child the same opportunity. May we all become sponsors ourselves and help the next generation chase their dreams. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

A memorable part of the EnChild Philippines Study Tour 2026 was seeing our Japanese sponsors, EnChild beneficiaries, and alumni connect through games like Pinoy Henyo and a puzzle challenge.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this experience full of joy, laughter, and genuine connection. Here's to building more bridges of friendship, one shared moment at a time. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

From a creative young dreamer to an aspiring architect helping shape the world around her.

An alumna of MLQ, Katrina pursued her passion for design and innovation, eventually earning a degree in Architecture. Today, she is working on construction sites, helping turn ideas into structures that will serve communities for years to come.

Looking back on her journey, Katrina shares that every challenge, long day, and hard-earned lesson was worth it. She also credits EnChild for being one of the sources of support that helped her stay focused on her goals and continue believing in her potential.

Not there yet, but will soon be~

โ€œA few years back, I had the opportunity to share my story as an Enchild beneficiary and talk about my career and personal aspirations. Back then, I only had a vague idea of the path I wanted to take, but one thing was clear: I wanted a better life for myself and my family, and to give back to Enchild in every little way I could.

Eight years later, I can say Iโ€™ve taken a few steps closer to what my Grade 11 self once dreamed of. I became a government scholar, earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree, passed the board exam, and am now a licensed engineer working on a design and construction project.

I am still far from where I ultimately want to be. In fact, I still donโ€™t fully know how Iโ€™ll get there. Sometimes, the path ahead still feels unclear to me. Iโ€™m not even sure if what I want today will remain the same a year from now.

But I believe that no matter what I experience, as long as I stay grounded in my purpose, I will eventually get there.

For eleven years, Enchild has been part of my story, watching me grow from an elementary student into a working professional. As I move forward, I hope to remain humble and connected to the community that nurtured me and opened countless opportunities, so that I can also give back by helping others pursue their dreams.โ€

โ€œHello, Enchild family, and to all the incredible scholars.

If I could go back in time and tell the 11-year-old version of myself what the future held, she wouldn't believe it. Looking back at my journey from elementary school all the way through college, I am filled with immense gratitude. Today, I am beyond proud to stand before you and say: I am a Licensed Electrical Engineer.

Every struggle, every late-night study session, and every hardship was a stepping stone, and Enchild was part of my journey every single step of the way. I wouldn't be where I am today without the unwavering help, belief, and support I received throughout my education.

Now, the reality of my dream looks like this. I am standing out in the field, working as the Project-in-Charge Engineer at a treatment plant right here in Lipa, Batangas. Yes, it is a field traditionally dominated by men, but I am living proof that our dreams are not bounded by stereotypes, but by our dedication.โ€

Growth begins with courage and perseverance.

For Blessel from Holy Spirit, being an EnChild scholar opened doors far beyond the university gates. Throughout her academic and career journey, she faced many obstacles, but with perseverance, service, and integrity as her guiding principles, she continued to move forward and grow from every experience.

The lessons she gained as an EnChild scholar inspired her to embrace opportunities, build meaningful connections, and remain committed to making a difference. Today, Blessel collaborates with mentors and fellow advocates in creating meaningful activities that positively impact others and strengthen communities.
