To Teach Values-based Basic Education
“Let it be printed…”
President Ben Malayang III of host Silliman University grants his imprimatur to the non-sectarian and non-political GOandTELL N-12 textbook series. Awaiting their turn are Bishop Reuel Norman Marigza - General Secretary of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, Drs Noriel Capulong and Everett Mendoza of the UCCP Faith and Order Commission and Dr. Ruth de Lara – President of GOandTELL Publishing Inc in the first of a series of launchings in various socio/religious sectors of society.
This one-of-a-kind N-12 series of books, is designed to instill the values of honesty, industry, service, love for the environment and to minimize undesirable practices like corruption, at home in school and in government by providing an alternative values system to be taught in the basic education of our schoolchildren.
The books now go to press and will be ready for distribution in March and April in time for the June opening of classes in the SY 2014-15.
