Conceptualized in 2008, IDMS’ registration with the SEC was only approved in 2011 after consultations with the Department of Health, the Ultrasound Society of the Philippines and the Board of Radiologic Technologist. This makes IDMS as the first, if not the only non-hospital or clinic based ultrasound training facility in the Philippines whose curriculum underwent and passed such scrutiny.
