The Rizal Technological University โ€“ University Library and Technology Resource Office (ULTRO), headed by Director Bobby D. Cauilan, LPT, RL, MLIS took part in the Four-Day Freshmen Orientation for S.Y. 2026โ€“2027 held from September 15โ€“18, 2026.

Col. Lib. Cauilan introduced the freshmen to the University Libraryโ€™s services, resources, and support available to students, helping them discover the library as a space for learning, research, and academic success.

Carrying the theme โ€œEmpowering Future-Ready Libraries: Innovation, Inclusion, Assessment, and Community Engagementโ€, the summit gathered librarians across different regions to discuss the latest innovations and recent updates in the field of Library and Information Science. The three-day event, held on September 2 to 4 at Tanaun, Leyte, featured various discussions focused on elevating library management and services, delivered by expert librarians from across the country.
