With pride and purpose, President Shiela Mae M. Ibe took part in the Mini City Council of Mandaluyong, portraying Councilor Grace Antonioโan experience that allowed her to see leadership not simply as a title, but as a commitment to the people one represents.
More than just a simulation, the session became a meaningful opportunity to listen, speak, deliberate, and understand the responsibilities that come with public service. Each discussion carried a lesson: that leadership demands not only confidence, but also empathy, accountability, and the courage to stand for what is right. ๐ฃ๏ธ๐
Through every exchange of ideas and every decision presented, the voice of the youth found its place. It showed that young people can contribute to conversations that shape communitiesโnot because they already know everything, but because they are willing to learn, willing to listen, and willing to serve. ๐ค๐ป
