Super fun ang celebration, full ng energy, 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 performances, at 𝕘𝕒𝕞𝕖𝕤 na enjoy ng lahat 🎉🎶. In the program, naipakita ng students ang 𝓽𝓪𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 nila while repping Filipino values at culture 🇵🇭❤️

The JOSE FABELLA MEMORIAL SCHOOL SUPREME SECONDARY LEARNER GOVERNMENT (JFMS-SSLG) is reaching out to help the children affected by the recent fire in Pleasant Hills, Mandaluyong City. Many students have lost their school supplies and need our support to continue their education.

We are accepting donations in any of the following ways:
1. Monetary Donations - to help purchase school supplies.
2. In-Kind Donations - school supplies such as:
– Notebooks, paper, and folder
– Pencils, pens, crayons, and marker
– Backpacks or school bags

Last 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 the Schools Division Office of Mandaluyong City has invited the 𝑱𝑭𝑴𝑺 𝑺𝑺𝑳𝑮 and 𝑺𝑬𝑳𝑮 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒔 alongside various schools in the city to participate in the seminar entitled “𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡”with the theme of 𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐂-𝐂𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐌 “𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐍: 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚, 𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧!” which was held in Kaban ng hiyas, Maysilo, Mandaluyong City — A memorable experience rather than merely a program. Numerous stories, one journey!

On first session, the main topic that they discussed was all about 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝑨𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒆—one of the topic they tackled about the “𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐰” which are child prostitution, child trafficking and child pornography—which brought us to the next topic that was all about “𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞.”This taught us the value of safeguarding children's rights and reporting incidents to the appropriate authorities. Republic Act No. 7610, which makes these acts illegal in the Philippines, made us realize how crucial it is to protect children's rights and make sure they are safe and healthy.

Lastly, on second session dealt with “𝐓𝐡𝐞 3 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞,” namely:

We learned in this session that our voice is a powerful way to get help and keep others safe. It stressed the importance of speaking up, setting limits, and never staying quiet when someone's rights are being violated. In the end, both sessions made us more aware of how important it is to protect and uphold the rights of children.

This 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰-𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 the Schools Division Office of Mandaluyong City has invited the JFMS SSLG and SELG officers alongside various schools in the city to participate in the 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐃𝐋𝐂) which was held in Makati Palace Hotel, Makati City.

The event highlighted meaningful lessons centered in nation building, youth-empowerment, leadership, and collaboration. On Day 1 of the program the 1st topic discussed was "𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏-𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈" this lesson emphasizes that the Filipino youth is not just future leaders but are already active contributers to progress today, the 2nd topic discussed is in the title of "𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕" inspires learners to take part in initiatives to create a big impact on community, and the last event was the "Fellowship Night" which strengthened the camaraderie of the students, celebrated the diversity among schools, and built lasting connections.

On Day 2, a project pitching presentation took place, where selected schools shared their project proposals that they want to implement, showing practical and creative ideas that can help students and their communities. The program also included the Manifesto of SSLG and SELG Officers, which reasserted their dedication to responsible leadership, caring for student welfare, promoting inclusivity, and taking an active role in school and community activities.
