‎A huge congratulations to both Team Arangkada and Team Transit Titans for making it through, and proving that RTU can stand toe-to-toe with the best architecture schools in the country!

‎While both teams displayed incredible grit, we would especially like to applaud 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 for achieving a podium placement. Thank you for carrying the Gold and Blue with such professional integrity and passion.

𝐑𝐓𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐖𝐈𝐙 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Out of 22 schools (38 teams) nationwide, the RTU-IA Arangkada Team proudly secured 2ND RUNNER-UP at ARKWIZ 2026, with the timely theme 'Daily Mobility', making RTU the only SUC to reach the top three.

Represented by brilliant 4th and 5th-year Architecture students led by Adrian Joseph L. Mendoza, Anjelyn G. Tagasa, and Cheska Kandice A. Vidal of the winning Arangkada Team, and the alternate team, Transport Titans led by Gabriel D. Marcial, Curt Jairus B. Perez, and Richard Ollen S. Brosas—they've proven that passion, determination, and teamwork can shine on the national stage.

Special thanks to this year's Coach, Ar. Israel S. Bautista, for bringing the teams to success, the unwavering support of the IA Faculty, and the overall supervision and guidance of the Institute of Architecture Director, Ar. Marirose V. Vocal.

The faculty members of the Institute of Architecture (IA), led by Ar. Marirose V. Vocal, represented Rizal Technological University (RTU) at the Tripartite Event, which included the Asian Architects in the Academe Assembly 2026, the 51st UAP National Convention, and the Launch of CIAP Document 102 in April. The three events served as opportunities to strengthen the IA’s instruction and maintain the relevance and timeliness of course materials.
