Dr. Nerissa Sabarre, Chair of the Pasig City General Hospital - Department of Emergency Medicine and Acute Care (PCGH DEMAC) and PHTLS instructor, joins us in Day 2 of the PHTLS Provider Course.

The PHTLS for First Responders (PHTLS-FR) Course of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) teaches essential, evidence-based trauma care to firefighters, EMTs, police, and rescue personnel, focusing on critical thinking, rapid assessment (like the XABCDE method), and life-saving interventions (like hemorrhage control) to improve outcomes for trauma patients before hospital arrival.

It's a tailored version of the full PHTLS program, providing practical skills and knowledge for those first on scene.

Day 1 : PHTLS 10e Provider Course with our instructors from PCGH, Dr. Rich Santos and Dr. Gerard Ysmael.

We are just confirming the exact date with our MDs but we will run a PHTLS 10e Provider Course this January 2026.
