: Articulation Session on Online Frontline Service and Liquidation Issues

THE SCHOOLS DIVISION of Mandaluyong City through the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS) and ICT Unit vowed to strengthen its online services to minimize contact due to the ongoing pandemic.

According to Mr. John Darryll S. Mercado, division IT officer, the move is to ensure safety of the division's frontliners and clients through physical documents, transportation to and from school and division office.

"We want to improve the cycle of service provision and gradually achieve paperless transactions," Mercado added.

The ICT unit head also said that through online services, it would be easy to monitor work progress efficiently.

Part of improving the online services, the OSDS will also launch an online appointment system to ensure that all concerns will be addressed properly and promptly.

Among the services to be included in the online system under the accounting and ICT unit are: issuance of copy of payroll, request for statement of account for provident fund, account password request of teaching and non-teaching personnel and ICT service request for SDO officials and school heads.

Different personnel unit services will be also included in the system such as request for certificate of employment, certificate of PhilHealth remittances, Pag-ibig remittances, Pag-ibig correction of data, application for change of name, permit to teach and sabbatical and study leave among others.

To further improve services, the system will include a client feedback.

Attendees to the said articulation sessions are SDO officials, frontliners, school heads and their office staff.
