Pursuant to Office Order No. 1956, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the President regarding the Full Migration of the e-RTU Learning Management System (LMS), the e-RTU LMS will undergo system migration from August 3 to 7, 2026.
During this period, access to the e-RTU LMS will be temporarily unavailable to facilitate the migration process.
Please be advised that the old e-RTU LMS will be decommissioned upon the transition to the new e-RTU platform. As a result, faculty members will no longer be able to access files, course materials, and other resources stored in the old LMS after the migration.
To avoid data loss, all RTU faculty members are strongly advised to back up their course materials, files, and other important resources before the scheduled migration to ensure these remain accessible after the old e-RTU LMS is decommissioned.
To guide you through the backup process, please refer to the step-by-step instructions available here:
https://www.facebook.com/rtuiflde/posts/pfbid02EcXJnfdSQkgssUeG8gVhy6fzM6dAbiPFfuSwS9rMSCERhWYVPsqU8FtefwAARBXFl
The Institute of Flexible Learning and Digital Education (IFLDE) will issue an advisory once the migration has been successfully completed and the e-RTU platform is ready for active use.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Thank you

For the final installment of this series, we turn to what lies at the heart of ETEEAP assessment. ETEEAP SMART was designed not only to strengthen the technical knowledge of assessors, but also to cultivate the values and mindset needed for meaningful and effective ETEEAP service.
This quote from Dr. Robert A. Salvador of Mariano Marcos State University captures that spirit with sincerity and purpose. At its core, ETEEAP is a system of support, recognition, and encouragement for adult learners. It provides a pathway for individuals to transform their years of experience, dedication, and hard work into greater academic and professional opportunities through quality education.
As 21st-century education continues to champion access, inclusion, and lifelong learning, may we carry this message with us: that every document we assess represents a person, a journey, and a hope for a better future. Through ETEEAP, we are called not only to evaluate, but to serve with fairness, compassion, and purpose.

One of the primary goals of ETEEAP SMART is to deepen our understanding of the standards and principles that guide the implementation of ETEEAP for both applicants and assessors. The program recognizes the value of an applicant's prior learning and professional experience, relieving them of unnecessary academic requirements where appropriate. However, it does not seek to provide an easier path to a degree without sufficient evidence of competence.
This quote from Dr. Analyn I. Diola of Pangasinan State University reminds us that effective ETEEAP implementation requires a careful balance between compassion and academic integrity. As assessors, our responsibility is not to lower standards, but to provide qualified adult learners with a fair opportunity to demonstrate that they have already achieved them.
*"The practical implementation of ETEEAP must therefore be compassionate, but firm; flexible, but compliant; learner-centered, but evidence-based; inclusive, but academically rigorous."*
May this serve as a reminder that our role is to uphold the quality of higher education while empowering adult learners to earn the recognition they have worked hard to deserve.

As the ETEEAP Assessors' Training concludes, let us continue to reflect on the lessons and insights shared by our resource speakers regarding the purpose of ETEEAP, its role in advancing adult learning, and the opportunities it creates for individuals seeking personal and professional growth.
This quote from Dr. Verjun J. Dilla of Central Luzon State University serves as a timely reminder of the impact of our work. Through careful, fair, and purposeful assessment, we help recognize prior learning and professional experience, enabling adult learners to pursue greater opportunities and achieve their aspirations.

As educators and public servants, may we continue to open those doors and empower more individuals to realize their full potential through lifelong learning.

For Day 2, our second resource speaker, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐. ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฅ๐ of Pangasinan State University (PSU) Asingan Campus, delivered an insightful session on Quality Assurance and Practical Application in ETEEAP Implementation. She emphasized the importance of maintaining standards, consistency, and credibility in the assessment process while ensuring that applicantsโ prior learning and experiences are evaluated with integrity and accuracy.
The session also featured a hands-on workshop where participants actively engaged in assessing ETEEAP applicants. This practical activity allowed future assessors to apply learned concepts, strengthen their evaluation skills, and gain a deeper understanding of evidence-based assessment in real-world scenarios.
The IFLDE extends its heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Diola for her valuable expertise and for reinforcing the Universityโs commitment to quality, inclusive, and transformative education through ETEEAP.
