Pandayang Rizalia’s growing research contribution is not without the unwavering effort of RTU’s passion-driven researchers. Out of the 378 researchers that produced the 106 RTU-affiliated Scopus-indexed publications, 12 Rizaliano scholars stood out as top contributors.

Their curiosity, collaborative spirit, and dedication to the creation of knowledge through their expertise are what truly sets them apart. Indeed, these Rizalianos embody the spirit of Pandayang Rizalia’s research excellence.

𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞

For nearly two decades, Rizal Technological University has been steadily building a name in global research, with every Scopus-indexed publication a testament to the dedication of our Rizaliano researchers.

Since 2006, RTU’s 378 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 have produced 106 𝘚𝘤𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘴-𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘥 𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, earning 320 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 from fellow scholars worldwide as of July 20, 2026.

True to its commitment to open, accessible knowledge, RTU has made 52 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴 (49%) freely available through open-access platforms, because good research deserves to be read, not locked away.

Pandayang Rizalia also continues to widen its global reach, with 24% of its publications co-authored alongside researchers from the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific, proof that great ideas grow stronger across borders.

Numbers aside, this is a story of Rizalianos choosing curiosity, rigor, and collaboration, one publication, one citation, one partnership at a time.

On July 9, 2026, Rizal Technological University (RTU) hosted the Youth Aspirations Forum as part of the celebration of the 2026 World Population Day, gathering student and youth leaders, faculty members, government agencies, and stakeholders in a meaningful discussion on the aspirations of the next generation on population and development, reproductive health, gender equality, and sustainable development.

The forum was organized in collaboration with the Commission on Population and Development-National Capital Region (CPD-NCR), Center for Health Solutions & Innovations Philippines, Inc. (CHSI), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), through RTU’s Sen. Neptali Gonzales Research Center for Development Studies, headed by Instr. Joel Mark Rodriguez.

Santos and John Steve Naval, for receiving the Best Patent Mining Search Report award during the Patent Mining Training Workshop and Mentorship Program for RAISE Batch 1 Southern Tagalog Region under the SOUTH Mentorship Series Year 2.

The program was held from July 7 to 9, 2026, at the Cavite State University-Main Campus and was conducted under the Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program in Southern Tagalog, in collaboration with the Southern Tagalog Agriculture, Aquatic, and Resources Research, Development and Extension Consortium (STAARRDEC).

The study uses the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypothesized model and simultaneously estimate multiple relationships within a unified framework. The absence of employee engagement and performance management systems could harm the organization, underscoring the necessity of human-centric management.
