|Look| Earlier, the National Reading Month Celebration marked its grand culmination at Cayawan Elementary School Activity Center.

This program was the culmination of a month-long celebration of various literary activities that were done and facilitated last week and up until its culmination.
One of the most exciting highlights during the program was the Book Character Parade, where students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 showcased their creativity and love for literature by dressing up as their favorite book characters in stunning costumes.

This activity aims to foster love for reading among learners and increase their understanding of reading and literacy as pivotal in cultivating critical thinking.

Moreover, we would like to recognize and thank our dedicated Reading Coordinator, Ma’am Marilou M. Nugas for her exceptional efforts in organizing an impressive and highly successful program. Your hard work and commitment have truly made this celebration of literacy memorable and impactful.
We also extend our gratitude to the teachers, parents and students who participated and made this activity successful.
Let’s continue to inspire and empower each other through the gift of books and stories.

Project " KAWAYAN" was successfully launched!

The school is pleased to express its gratitude for the success of the launching of Project Kawayan through a 2-day seminar workshop on crafting localized reading materials designed to mitigate the reading challenges of the learners.

This initiative aims to enhance reading activities at home, where parents play a vital role, especially through follow-ups in their respective households.

Our deepest gratitude to dedicated speakers, our Division Education Program Supervisor Ma'am Alda B. Pawin, for her comprehensive insights on effective ways sustain the project.

Sir Ervin E. Casagda, an AGILA awardee for sharing his best practices in addressing the challenge of non readers and the brilliant ideas of Ma'am Roselyn B. Madalo of GMES II , that tackled about the nature, characteristics and intervention of learners with learning disabilities.

School-Based World Teachers' Day Celebration

October 4, 2024, Cayawan Elementary School celebrated the incredible contributions of our teachers in this year's World Teachers' Day, with the theme Together4Teachers.

A special thanks to our dynamic and supportive school head, Mrs. Ruvie Mae B. Audan, for her dedication & support throughout the school programs and activities.

To Mrs. Jenelyn B. Madalo, our dynamic SELG adviser, and also to the SELG officers for spearheading the activity.

Special thanks to the people in attendance headed by the BLGU Committee chair on Education, Mrs. Charry M. Salvador, IPMR, Mr. Romy A. Bentayao and the PTA led by our president.
