Batobato ES transforms to Modular Distance Learning today, since the Local Government Unit of Manay suspends the class of all public and private elementary and secondary school for occular inspection because of the 6.7 magnitude earthquake that hits Manay yesterday January 7, 2026.

This happens today, Bato-Bato Elementary School conducts it's culminating activity in National Reading Month with a theme, Reading is a bridge to a future full of hope.

The children showcase their love in reading to their audience, their parents. One student performed story telling of his favorite story entitled "The Ant and the Grasshopper", followed by a readers theater of some selected student and lastly the poem interpretation of the Key Stage 1 of Ms. Jelen T. Bangkiling.

The students enjoy different literacy games, such as "Scramble Me Please", 4 pics 1 word, "Match Me to My Name", "Read Me and Act it Out!" and other fun and engaging activities.

Parents provide different feedback to their children's improvement. How the Project PATUBU (Pagbasa Tungod sa Bagong Umaga) a school intervention program, anchored in the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning in Reading or (ARAL in Reading) of the Department of Education, have helped their children improved their reading ability and achieved fluency. The one on one tutorial, planned and designed different reading activity are one of the strategy of the ARAL tutors.

Robelito Dapong Mamilic Linogan has expressed his sincerest gratitude to all parents and teachers who work tirelessly just to make sure that all our pupils had provided quality and efficient reading intervention that would address the fluency and comprehension of the student.

This concludes the school-level Reading Month Culminating Activity that ends with a community singing "Yesterday's Dream" that says "We are the children of yesterday's dream, we are th promise of the future we bring." And in Reading, it can open a door of opportunity.

Dinomina ni Jeralyn Rodriguez ng National Capital Region ang laban ng Athletics Girls’ 400-meter run nang makuha niya ikalimang ginto ng Pinas sa 14th ASEAN Schools Games (ASG) sa Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

Naitala ni Jeralyn ang impresibong oras na 55.25 seconds para sa ginto habang nasungkit naman ng Vietnam ang simver at bronze ng Indonesia.

Una na siyang nagpahanga sa Palarong Pambansa 2025, matapos mag-uwi ng limang ginto mula sa 4x100-meter at 4x400-meter relay, gayundin sa 100-meter, 200-meter, at 400-meter run.

Another new learning obtain by one of our student named Myka Masanguid Buog a grade 5 pupil of Batobato ES. It was a fruitful day for her to understand one event in Campus Journalism, the Editorial Cartooning. For her new learning opens new opportunity to grow and develop.
