Manay National High School remains steadfast in its commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all learners. We embrace diversity and respect the unique identities, backgrounds, and expressions of every student, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
As an educational institution, we uphold the values of integrity, compassion, and respect. We strongly discourage and condemn any form of ridicule, discrimination, or derogatory remarks directed toward our learners. Every student deserves dignity, understanding, and the opportunity to learn in an environment free from prejudice.
Our school does not jeopardize nor diminish the identity of any learner. Instead, we strive to cultivate a culture where differences are recognized, respected, and celebrated as part of our shared humanity.
We would also like to clarify that this video circulating online was intended solely to uplift spirits and promote positivity in the aftermath of the recent earthquake experienced by many Mindanaoans. Amid challenging circumstances, the video sought to remind us that resilience, hope, and unity can help communities move forward.
We humbly appeal to everyone to exercise sensitivity and responsibility when expressing opinions, especially on social media. While freedom of expression is a fundamental right, it should always be practiced with respect for the rights, feelings, and dignity of others. Let us choose kindness over mockery, understanding over judgment, and empathy over division.
Together, let us continue to foster a community built on respect, inclusivity, and compassion for the benefit of all learners.
Keep safe, everyone.
