A heartfelt congratulations to all the Science Investigatory Project (SIP) participants who showcased their knowledge, creativity, and scientific skills during the competition held on September 24, 2026, at Manapla National High School–Purisima Extension! 🎉👏🔬

Your hard work, teamwork, curiosity, and courage in presenting your projects are truly commendable. More than completing a project, you experienced the valuable process of asking questions, conducting experiments, analyzing results, solving problems, and learning through science.🧪💡

Step by step, we're bringing our Medicinal Garden to life! Today, our dedicated Science Club members completed the cleaning of the garden area and began planting the first seeds of our medicinal plants.

Every seed we plant today represents hope, growth, and a commitment to protecting our environment. Through teamwork and hands-on learning, we're cultivating not only a garden but also responsibility, patience, and a deeper appreciation for nature.

Every beautiful garden begins with a clean and prepared space. Here, our Science Club members rolled up their sleeves and worked together to clear and clean the area where our Medicinal Garden will soon take root.

Through teamwork, dedication, and a shared love for nature, we're laying the foundation for a garden that will inspire learning, promote wellness, and nurture environmental responsibility.

Vision
Project MEDS envisions a school community where students are empowered by scientific curiosity and grounded in environmental stewardship. We see a future where our Medicinal Education & Discovery Site becomes a thriving hub for learning — bridging traditional plant knowledge and modern science, nurturing student-researchers, and inspiring healthier, more sustainable practices from the garden to the community.

Mission
The mission of Project MEDS is to establish and maintain a student-led medicinal garden that serves as a living laboratory for the Science Club. Through the hands-on cycle of “From Soil to Science, From Plants to People,” we aim to:

1. Cultivate a diverse collection of local medicinal plants while teaching sustainable gardening and propagation techniques.

2. Investigate the botanical, chemical, and cultural significance of these plants through age-appropriate scientific methods, documentation, and experimentation.

3. Educate the school and wider community about plant-based wellness, responsible use of herbal remedies, and the importance of biodiversity.

4. Develop critical thinking, collaboration, and research skills among members as they transform observations in the soil into scientific knowledge that benefits people.
