After careful consideration and in recognition of the need to safeguard the continuity of education, classes at all levels shall resume tomorrow, August 25, 2026. Government work shall likewise resume.

While the suspension of classes was necessary to ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and personnel, the prolonged disruption has also affected the continuity of learning. With due consideration of the prevailing conditions, it is now necessary to resume classes and government work, while remaining vigilant and guided by official safety advisories.

This decision was made after due consideration, striking a careful balance between public safety and the urgent need to continue the education of our learners and the delivery of essential government services.

We urge everyone to remain vigilant and responsible. Let us continue to prioritize safety while ensuring that learning and public service move forward.

May pinagdaraanan o concern tungkol sa kaligtasan? Hindi mo kailangang harapin ito nang mag-isa.

Sa Learners TeleSafe Contact Center Helpline, mas madaling makahingi ng tulong ang mga mag-aaral at magulang. Pinalalakas din ng DepEd ang counseling, tamang referral, at propesyonal na tulong, katuwang ang National Center for Mental Health.

May malalapitan ka. May makikinig. At may handang tumulong.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Sa kabila ng suspensyon ng klase, hindi tumitigil ang ating mga g**o sa paghahatid ng edukasyon. Ngayong araw, mismong mga g**o ng Sapdaan Elementary School ang naghatid at namahagi ng mga modyul at gawain sa ating mga mag-aaral upang maipagpatuloy nila ang kanilang mga gawain sa kani-kanilang tahanan.

Sa sama-samang pagsisikap ng mga g**o, magulang, at mag-aaral, patuloy nating pinangangalagaan ang pagkatuto sa kabila ng anumang pagsubok. 🏠📖

Kahit may suspensyon, ang pagkatuto ay tuloy-tuloy!

Sa pagtutulungan ng mga g**o, magulang, at mag-aaral, patuloy nating naihahatid ang edukasyon kahit nasa bahay lamang. 💙

Sa pamamagitan ng Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM), naipamahagi sa mga magulang at tagapag-alaga ang mga learning materials upang magamit ng ating mga mag-aaral sa kanilang pag-aaral sa tahanan. 🏠📚

Sa kabila ng mga hamon, patuloy na nagsisikap ang mga mag-aaral na tapusin ang kanilang mga gawain at matuto sa tulong ng kanilang mga magulang at g**o.

Sama-sama nating pinananatiling buhay ang pagkatuto saanman at anumang sitwasyon.
