Theme: “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa”

Ilawod Elementary School officially launched Brigada Eskwela 2025 today, June 9, 2023, with the unified spirit of bayanihan and shared responsibility for quality education. 💪📚

This year’s theme emphasizes the power of collaboration in building a nation of readers — "Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa." The Kick-Off was warmly participated in by our dedicated parents, passionate volunteers, supportive School PTA Officials, stakeholders, hardworking teachers, and enthusiastic pupils. Together, we prepare our school for the opening of classes and strengthen our commitment to literacy and learning for all.

🛠️💖 From cleaning classrooms to organizing reading corners, everyone played a role in creating a safe, clean, and child-friendly learning environment.

District Monitoring & Technical Assistance Conducted at Ilawod Elementary School

The District Monitoring and Technical Assistance (DMTA) was successfully conducted today at Ilawod Elementary School, focusing on strengthening instructional supervision, school management, and curriculum implementation.

This initiative aimed to:

📌 Assist school heads in effectively overseeing instructional supervision and school management.

📌 Monitor the implementation of the Enhanced K to 12 Curriculum, ensuring alignment with DepEd standards by:
✅ Assessing learners' performance through pre-tests, mid-year, summative, and quarterly assessments, learners' portfolios, written works, and performance tasks.
✅ Evaluating the implementation of special curriculum programs, school interventions, research, and innovations.

📌 Conduct post-reading and numeracy assessments to measure literacy and numeracy proficiency:
📖 CRLA for Grades 1, 2, and 3
📖 PHIL-IRI for Grades 4, 5, and 6
🔢 ERUNT Tools for Grades 1 to 6

A highlight of the activity was the recognition of Ilawod Elementary School teachers for their unwavering dedication to teaching literacy and numeracy, as well as their commitment to fostering a culture of learning and excellence that continues to shape young minds for a brighter future.

These young ambassadors shone bright, representing the beauty and unity of diverse cultures. We're also immensely proud of our runners-up who showcased their talents and cultural pride:
