CPSC ITED DEMO TEACHING SHOWCASE 2026

The Demo Teaching Showcase serves as a platform for pre-service teachers to demonstrate their instructional skills, classroom management strategies, communication abilities, and mastery of content knowledge. Through this activity, students are provided with an opportunity to apply educational theories and teaching methodologies in a simulated classroom environment while receiving constructive feedback from experienced educators.

Leading the panel is Dr. Paul Niño S. Tabigne, Dean of the Institute of Teacher Education, whose extensive experience and leadership in teacher education will guide the evaluation process. Joining him are Ms. Janet U. Mejos, Instructor III, a graduate of the Master of Arts in Education major in English from Capitol University, and Ms. Rachel May A. Closas, Instructor I, a graduate of the Master of Arts in Education from Camiguin Polytechnic State College.

With a competent and highly qualified panel of evaluators, the Institute reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and the continuous development of future educators. The activity is expected to uphold high standards of teaching performance and contribute to the preparation of competent, reflective, and innovative teachers who are ready to meet the demands of the profession.

The Institute of Teacher Education remains steadfast in its mission of producing quality educators through rigorous training, meaningful assessment, and transformative learning experiences that foster professional growth and educational leadership.

The 2-Day International Leadership Workshop will be conducted on June 10–11, 2026, at Villa Paraiso Appartelle, Mambajao, Camiguin, bringing together key leaders and administrators from Camiguin Polytechnic State College (CPSC) and partner institutions. The participants include CPSC Administrators, Unit Heads, Institute Deans, and Program Heads, along with invited and willing Department Heads, Principals, and School Heads from the Department of Education (DepEd).
The activity is designed as a professional development engagement focused on strengthening leadership capacity, enhancing institutional management practices, and fostering collaboration among academic and administrative leaders. It also serves as a platform for sharing best practices and insights in educational leadership within both higher education and basic education sectors.

This workshop is made possible through partnership with the organizations and institutions indicated in the official event poster, which further supports its goal of promoting meaningful leadership growth and inter-institutional cooperation.

The Camiguin Polytechnic State College (CPSC) Student Leaders will participate in the International Student Leader Workshop on Life Coaching on June 9, 2026, at Villa Paraiso Appartelle, Mambajao, Camiguin. This workshop is designed to enhance leadership capabilities, foster personal growth, and equip student leaders with valuable life coaching principles that can help them become more effective and inspiring leaders in their respective organizations. Conducted in partnership with the organizations and institutions featured in the official event poster, this activity promises a meaningful and enriching learning experience.
