In its continuing pursuit of academic excellence and professional readiness, the Institute of Teacher Education of Camiguin Polytechnic State College conducts another series of Comprehensive Review Sessions on September 12–13, 2026.

The sessions feature accomplished educators and distinguished LEPT topnotchers: Ms. Ma. Cleo A. Cabeguin, LPT, Top 8; Ms. Janine Hannah S. Saludares, LPT, Top 3; and Mr. Cesar Asupan Agbu Jr., LPT, Top 5. Drawing from their knowledge, experience, and remarkable licensure examination journeys, the resource speakers will guide future educators through essential concepts in Professional Education, Field Study, Technology for Teaching and Learning, and General Education–Filipino.

More than an academic review, this undertaking reflects ITEd’s commitment to cultivating competent, confident, and dedicated educatorsβ€”future professionals prepared not only to pass the licensure examination but also to serve meaningfully in the teaching profession.

The Camiguin Polytechnic State College – Institute of Teacher Education (ITEd) successfully launched its In-House Comprehensive Review Program with Diagnostic Assessment for ITEd 4th Year Students on August 15, 2026, at the CPSC Covered Court.

Carrying the theme, β€œRaising the Next Generation of LEPT Topnotchers and Licensed Professional Teachers,” the activity marks an important step in preparing future professional teachers for the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

The program opened with a prayer and meaningful messages from the ITEd leadership, review mentors, and distinguished LEPT achievers. The orientation highlighted the rationale of the comprehensive review program, the importance of honesty and integrity among future educators, review guidelines, the review and mock-board sessions, grading system, contribution requirements, and the schedule of activities.

A special highlight of the orientation was the showcasing of the achievements and inspiring stories of LEPT topnotchers and successful passers, providing the students with motivation and a clear vision of what dedication, discipline, and perseverance can accomplish.

Following the orientation, the students proceeded to the Diagnostic Test covering General Education, Professional Education, and Major subjects, which will serve as an important baseline in identifying their strengths and areas for improvement as they embark on their comprehensive review journey.

The ITEd community extends its appreciation to the ITEd Review Mentors, administrators, faculty members, resource persons, and students whose collective efforts made this activity possible.

As our future educators begin this journey, may this program inspire every aspiring teacher to dream higher, prepare harder, and persevere until success is achieved.
