𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇 𝐍𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is hosted by 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗸𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗵 (𝗜𝗧𝗦) in Indonesia. It is a short international program introducing Indonesian culture and selected topics to participants worldwide, enriched with art and cultural activities such as traditional music, dance, and food, and culminating in a Virtual Project Exhibition.

The Best Project Award is given to a participant who demonstrates creativity and effort in designing their project. The project is expected to be visually appealing, well-organized, and thoughtfully developed. In addition, the recipient shows effectiveness and confidence in presenting the project during the session.

𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗻 𝗣. 𝗟𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘇 - 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
The Special Award is given to a participant who stands out for their enthusiasm and active participation throughout the program. The recipient contributes positively to the learning environment by being engaged in the sessions and helping make the activities more lively and enjoyable. This award serves as recognition of the participant’s memorable presence and participation during CommTECH Nusantara 2026.

This participation shows our commitment to global partnerships, cultural exchange, and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education (SDG 4) and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡 | BatStateU, DSWD Region IV-A lumagda sa MOU para sa mas pinalakas na community programs

MUNTINLUPA CITY — Pormal na nilagdaan ng Batangas State University (BatStateU) at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region IV-A ang isang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) noong Marso 6, 2026 sa Alabang, Muntinlupa City upang palakasin ang kanilang ugnayan sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang pang-komunidad.

Dumalo sa seremonya ang mga kinatawan mula sa BatStateU ARASOF-Nasugbu, BatStateU Lipa, at BatStateU JPLPC-Malvar kasama ang mga opisyal ng DSWD Region IV-A. Pinangunahan ng Assistant Regional Director for Operations ng DSWD Region IV-A na si Mylah S. Gatchalian ang pagbubukas ng programa kung saan ipinaabot niya ang pasasalamat sa unibersidad para sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan nito sa mga programang pangkaunlaran.

Ayon sa mga opisyal ng BatStateU, inaasahang magbubukas ang kasunduan ng mas maraming proyekto at inisyatiba para sa kapakanan ng mga komunidad, kabilang ang mga programang may kaugnayan sa Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).

Kabilang sa mga nagbigay ng mensahe sina BatStateU ARASOF-Nasugbu Chancellor Dr. Enrico M. Dalangin, BatStateU JPLPC-Malvar Chancellor Assoc. Prof. Antonio A. Gamboa, at BatStateU Lipa Chancellor Atty. Alvin R. De Silva na nagpahayag ng kanilang suporta at pag-asa sa matagumpay na pagpapatupad ng mga planong proyekto.

Naging tampok ng programa ang pormal na paglagda sa MOU na sumisimbolo sa pangako ng dalawang institusyon na magtulungan sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang magpapalakas sa komunidad.

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, nagpasalamat ang DSWD Region IV-A sa BatStateU sa kanilang pakikiisa at ipinagkaloob naman ng BatStateU ARASOF-Nasugbu ang isang token bilang tanda ng kanilang patuloy na pakikipag-ugnayan.

Sa pamamagitan ng kasunduang ito, inaasahang mas mapapalakas pa ang mga inisyatiba ng BatStateU at DSWD para sa kapakanan at kaunlaran ng mga komunidad sa rehiyon.

On February 25, 2026, the External Affairs Office, led by Ms. Catherine G. Javier, held a productive coordination meeting with Dr. Sharon G. Angulo, Vice Chancellor for Development and External Affairs, along with the Associate Deans and Internationalization Coordinators of all colleges.

The meeting, held at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Development and External Affairs, focused on aligning programs, discussing academic initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and planning for institutional development.

The External Affairs Office – Central Administration conducted a coordination visit and meeting with the JPLPC Malvar Campus on February 13, 2026, at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Development and External Affairs. The meeting was led by Dr. Teodorica Ani, Director of EA Central, who joined virtually, and Dr. Camilo C. Alulod, Assistant Director for Local Partnerships. Participants included Dr. Sharon G. Angulo, Vice Chancellor for Development and External Affairs; Ms. Catherine G. Javier, Head of the External Affairs Office; Dr. Florina Padilla-Santiago, Head of the Job Placement Office; and other staff members.

The discussions focused on internationalization, local partnerships, alumni engagement, and job placement initiatives for 2026. Key updates highlighted efforts and best practices to strengthen international collaborations, enhance faculty and student capacity-building programs, expand local partnerships, improve alumni engagement through strategic initiatives, and advance job placement opportunities.

The meeting concluded with clear action points to ensure the successful implementation of programs and targets, underscoring BatStateU’s commitment to strategic collaboration, institutional growth, and continued support for students, alumni, and partners.

𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘉𝘐𝘡 2.0: 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 is a virtual short-term inbound student exchange program organized by the Batangas State University The National Engineering University, in cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Vietnam), Universitas Airlangga (Indonesia), Phnom Penh International University (Cambodia), Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Indonesia). The program ran from November 10, 2025, until December 1, 2025.

We are proud to share that Dr. Germaine Rae P. Surban, Head of the Sustainable Development Office - Batstateu JPLPC Malvar, recently served as one of the distinguished guest speakers at the NUNI International Seminar Series #10 on November 28, 2025. With the theme "Thriving in the Digital Age: Balancing Mental Health, Well-being, and Sustainability in a Hyperconnected World," Dr. Surban shared her insights on sustainability and the ability to drive progress on the SDGs in the digital era.

The NUNI International Seminar Series is organized by the Nationwide University Network in Indonesia (NUNI). It is a collaborative academic event involving 21 universities across Indonesia. The event aims to strengthen the internationalization of Indonesian higher education by promoting global perspectives through lectures from international academics. Topics cover areas such as AI, entrepreneurship, communication, and leadership, delivered in a hybrid or fully online format, targeting students, partners, and the public.
