In observance of “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day,” work in government offices will be suspended from 1:00 PM onward on September 28, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 136, s. 2026.

The suspension covers all agencies and instrumentalities of the National Government, including Government-owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) and state universities and colleges.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: Monday to Thursday (except Holidays), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

1. Visit the RGO and show at least your Certificate of Registration (COR)/ School ID before the transaction
2. Fill up the order slip
3. Present the order slip and pay to the cashier
4. Show the RGO staff the official receipt and the order slip
5. Secure the official receipt
6. Claim the item ordered
