Personnel of the Malungon Municipal Police Station conducted police visibility operations and maintained a security presence during the arrival of students at Banate National High School to ensure their safety and maintain peace and order in the school vicinity.

Banate National High School Achievement: Gawad KALASAG 2026

We are proud to announce that Banate National High School has been recognized as 3rd Place for the "Best Prepared Secondary School" in the 2026 Gawad KALASAG search. The awarding ceremony took place on July 12, 2026.

This recognition was conferred by the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) in connection with the Municipality of Malungon’s 57th Founding Anniversary and the upcoming Gawad Parangal. This award is a testament to our school's commitment to safety, disaster preparedness, and proactive risk management.

Professional Development:
Psychological First Aid Workshop

Banate National High School successfully conducted a seminar-workshop titled “Psychological First Aid: Grounding the Aftermath” on June 30, 2026. This session was dedicated to enhancing the well-being and emotional readiness of our teaching staff.

The program focused on three essential objectives:

1. Empowering Resilience: Equipping our educators with fundamental skills to navigate challenges and maintain professional well-being.
2. Perspective Building: Developing a deeper appreciation for both life’s victories and its inevitable adversities.
3. Adaptive Coping: Fostering practical mechanisms to promote emotional stability and adaptability in our daily practice.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our facilitator, Ma’am Oxideza G. Catada (Guidance Counselor II), for her expertise in leading this session. We are also deeply appreciative of our co-facilitators for their invaluable support and collaborative effort:

We are pleased to formally recognize the outstanding performance of our students in the recently concluded 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶-𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇, held on July 13, 2026. This competition was conducted as part of the weeklong festivities marking the 𝟓𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧 and in observance of the annual Nutrition Month, centered on the theme: “𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗮𝗻!”
