San Miguel Integrated School (SMIS) joined the Malungon 3 District Festival of Talents last January 28, 2025, held at Malungon National High School.

SMIS demonstrated their academic talent and skills by participating in four events: Story Retelling, Pop Dev Quizbee, Poster Making, and Bread and Pastry Production.

Sharon B. Tanduyan of Grade 3-Mango brought 3rd place in Story Retelling guided by her adviser, Wenzl A. Lerasan.

Venus Khariel H. Canencia of Grade 10-Flemming conquered 3rd place in Pop Dev Quizbee with her coach, Michelle I. Candia.

Apriel Kate P. Cuรฑado of Grade 8-Newton secured 3rd place in the Poster Making Contest with the help of her coach, Jeric N. Quero.

Angel Grace E. Allecer and Yhanie Shanne B. Buendia, both from Grade 9-Torres facilitated by their adviser and TLE teacher, Jessa B. Torres, advanced their way to the Division level representing the Malungon 3 District for the Division Festival of Talents that was held at Municipality of Malapatan last January 30-31, 2025. #

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | Installation and Turn-Over Ceremony of the Outgoing Principal and Ingoing Principal of San Miguel Integrated School (SMIS)

The said ceremony was conducted today, January 10, 2025, at the SMIS Grade 3 classroom.

Headed by Sir Noli G. Cabaylo, the Public School's District Supervisor of Malungon 3 District, the school heads from the different schools in the district attended and showed their support for the successful conduction of the ceremony.

Ma'am Relanie I. Cabatuan, the outgoing principal of SMIS will extend her leadership expertise to San Roque Elementary School.

Sir Mark Anthony M. Dimagnaong, the concurrent principal of Sanama Elementary School, will advance his leadership insights for the welfare of the SMIS community, especially for SMIS learners.

In observance to Proclamation No. 728, the San Miguel Integrated School (SMIS) sympathizes with the lives lost during the Severe Tropical Storm Kristine by half-masting the national flag during the flag-raising ceremony today, November 4, 2024.

This tradition of half-masting the Philippine national flag during significant national tragedies upon presidential order follows the Republic Act 8491 or the "Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines."

As of October 30, 2024, the National Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) disclosed that 139 casualties and 1,788,630 families, or 7,033,922 people, had already been listed to be affected by Typhoon Kristine. #
