In line with the City Government’s continuing efforts to ensure the safety and welfare of learners, teachers, and school personnel, the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council hereby directs educational institutions in the City of Malolos, both public and private, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, to observe a temporary shift to alternative delivery modalities on October 16–17, 2025.

This preventive suspension is undertaken to allow the conduct of school facility inspection, safety assessment and sanitation in coordination with concerned offices and agencies.

In view of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 raised over the Province of Bulacan and the expected inclement weather due to Tropical Cyclone OPONG (Bualoi), and in the interest of public safety, CLASSES in ALL LEVELS, in both public and private schools, are hereby suspended tomorrow, September 26, 2025.

The public is advised to remain indoors, monitor official weather updates from PAGASA, and stay alert for further announcements from the City Government of Malolos and local school authorities.

Due to the prevailing rains brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) due to Super Typhoon NANDO and in consideration of the safety and well-being of all learners, ONSITE CLASSES in ALL LEVELS in both public and private schools in the City of Malolos are hereby suspended tomorrow, September 24, 2025.

Schools are instructed to implement alternative learning modality which must be monitored by school heads and supervisors.

Due to the expected inclement weather brought by the Southwest Monsoon and Low Pressure Area (LPA 08i) and as precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners and school personnel, IN-PERSON CLASSES from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in both public and private schools are hereby suspended today, September 1, 2025.

Schools are instructed to shift to alternative learning modality, which must be monitored by school heads and supervisors. This suspension aims to prevent exposure to potential hazards caused by the prevailing weather condition.

Heavy to intense rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over , Nueva Ecija, Metro Manila, Quezon and Rizal within the next 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in Pampanga(Floridablanca, Porac, Guagua, Santa Rita, Bacolor), Tarlac(Capas, Bamban, San Jose, Tarlac City, Gerona), Zambales(San Marcelino, Subic, Botolan), Bataan(Dinalupihan, Hermosa), Batangas(Nasugbu, Lian, Calatagan, Balayan, San Pascual, San Jose, Batangas City, Ibaan, Bauan, Lobo), Laguna(Cabuyao, Santa Rosa, Calamba, Binan) and Cavite(Silang, Carmona) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
