Heidi Priebe once quoted that "As long as there is love, there will be grief because grief is love's natural continuation." We carry this imprint of love as we commemorate the passing of our beloved blockmate and friend, John Philip.

His departure leaves a silence in every room we have studied and grown together. A space continues to linger because his smile and laughter never failed to fill the room with light, especially when we are all overwhelmed with our workload. "Lucky chudai," ika nga. However, we will try to see the space not as a void but as one held sacred by the memories he left behind. We do not just mourn a loss; we celebrate the profound privilege of having known a soul so bright that even his absence feels like a lingering warmth.

You are deeply missed, Jape. May you find peace in the eternal morning, wrapped in the grasp of your favorite person in the whole world.

In this first-year dump, every picture captures a unique moment filled with tears and laughter—a testament to resilience and determination carried by everyone and an integral reminder that it is the fear that brought us here, but it is the courage that will get us there. ✈️

Time really flies fast when one immerses themselves in their intellectual and social growth. Within months, our dear BAELS 1A can encapsulate their knowledge through furnished academic papers and compelling presentations. Truly, they are a working progress worth celebrating for.

After all of the sleepless nights, countless reviews, and anxious thoughts— we successfully made it. Undeniably, this was the most excruciating yet rewarding journey for us.

As the summer break approaches, let us make time in doing what heals us! May it be binge watching films, playing video games, sleeping in, changing your appearance, and spending time with our loved ones. Hinay muna sa pagiging stressed out sa mga bagay bagay, besh! Just enjoy life and cherish every moment of it.

Sa pagtawid natin sa panibagong laban, huwag niyo sanang kalimutan ang mga aral na koonti-konti nating dinaanan mula simula. Nawa’y manatili ang sipag at determinasyon ng bawat isa na magpatuloy kahit pa mahirap na.
