Ang mag-aaral ng BS Psychology 2D na si Loreen Falcis, kasama ang kanyang pamilya, ay magsasagawa ng isang simpleng inisyatiba upang makapaghatid ng tulong sa mga naapektuhan ng bagyo sa Apalit, Pampanga. Dalawang evacuation center ang kanilang target na matulungan at mabigyan ng kinakailangang suporta.

Kaugnay nito, kami po ay magalang na nananawagan sa sinumang nais at may kakayahang tumulong sa pamamagitan ng donasyon. Anumang halaga, gaano man kaliit, ay may malaking ambag upang mas marami pa tayong maabot at mapagkalooban ng tulong.

Sa panahon ng kalamidad, ang pagkakaisa at malasakit ay maaaring maging malaking sandigan para sa mga pamilyang patuloy na humaharap sa epekto ng sakuna.

Sama-sama nating ipadama na hindi sila nag-iisa. Sa bawat munting ambag, may pagkakataong makapagbigay tayo ng pag-asa at ginhawa sa ating kapwa.

Kolektibong tumitindig ang Lokal na Konseho ng Kolehiyo ng Agham Panlipunan ag Pilosopiya, League of Class Mayors, mga Organisasyon at Socio-Cultural Groups ng CSSP sa mariing pagkundena ng mga diskriminatoryong probisyon ng College of Professional Teachers Education (CPTED). Kami ay taos pusong nakikiisa sa buong kapulungan ng mga mag-aaral, lalo na sa ating mga transgender at gender non-conforming (TGNC) na estudyante, na ang mga batayang karapatan ay tahasang pinaglalapastanganan.

As future social science practitioners, educators, and leaders, we have a mandate to uphold justice and equality in the midst of these prevailing discriminatory beliefs. We believe that professionalism is not found in policing bodies and gender expression. Sa halip na magtaguyod ng ligtas na lipunan, mas lumilikha lamang ito ng kapaligirang puno ng takot, diskriminasyon, at paghihigpit sa malayang pagpapahayag ng sarili.
